Gymnastics, without a doubt, is an essential element for the development of an athlete in CrossFit.
In CrossFit, body-weight movements are considered gymnastics (e.g., air squat, push-up, pull-up, etc.). We are taking skills from the sport of gymnastics and applying them to workouts.
In these classes we will building the foundations and learning the techniques of how to push, pull, hold or move in certain exercises and develop our skills on the more advanced movements (muscle ups, handstands, toes to bar etc...)
We don't always have the time in the Crossfit sessions to develop these skills so we solely focus on them in our Thursday class at 09:00-10:00am and 17:30-18:30pm.
